“Nurturing
550 Rural Children through Vimukti Child Resource
Centers” The
Vimukti Child Resource Centers (CRCs) have become
vital community-based platforms in our villages,
offering children safe, supportive, and stimulating
spaces after school hours. These village-level CRCs
create an environment where learning is joyful and
accessible, ensuring that no child is left behind
due to economic or social barriers. At each center,
children gather weekly to engage in age-appropriate
activities that strengthen reading, writing,
numeracy, and problem-solving skills. They enjoy
access to storybooks, learning materials, sports
equipment, and creative tools that sharpen both
their academic and life skills. Alongside academic
growth, the centers emphasize teamwork, leadership,
and confidence-building through group activities and
child-friendly discussions. Importantly, these
centers are deeply rooted in the rural communities
they serve. They link children and families with
educational resources, health awareness, and
opportunities that encourage overall well-being.
Parents and community members are also involved,
making the CRCs not just learning spaces but shared
hubs of development. Today, nearly 550 children from
multiple villages actively participate in these
Child Resource Centers. The initiative has brought
visible change—children are performing better in
schools, showing improved discipline and confidence,
and developing a stronger sense of responsibility
towards their peers and community.

Transforming
Lives After School: 655 Children Benefit from
Vimukti Learning Centres in 15 Villages of Manvi
Taluka: The
“Brighter Minds, Stronger Futures” programme
supports slow learners in 15 villages of Manvi
Taluka, Raichur District, by providing personalized
academic guidance and value-based education. In
these rural communities, many children face learning
gaps due to inadequate school instruction and
limited resources, which affect both their academic
performance and personal growth. To bridge this gap,
Vimukti has established evening tuition centres
offering focused learning support, foundational
skill-building, and confidence development. Nearly
655 children are currently benefiting, with visible
improvements in grades, participation, and
self-esteem. This initiative is not just about
better marks — it’s about empowering children to
dream big, learn with confidence, and build a
stronger future for themselves and their
communities.

Empowering
Young Minds: Vimukti Child Resource Centers (CRCs): The
Vimukti Child Resource Centers (CRCs) serve as
vibrant child-support hubs within marginalized
communities, offering safe, engaging, and
educational spaces for children beyond regular
school hours. These centers provide alternative
learning experiences designed to nurture creativity,
curiosity, and critical thinking among children from
our targeted villages. Each CRC offers an
age-appropriate learning platform where children are
encouraged to participate weekly. They have access
to a variety of play materials, library books, and
writing tools that enhance their reading, writing,
general knowledge, and motor skills through games

Empowering
Futures: Strengthening 250 Adolescent Girls through
Education, Health, and Gender Sensitization: Vimukti
Pothnal Vimukti
Pothnal has taken a significant step towards
empowering adolescent girls by reaching out to 250
girls across four villages. The primary aim of this
initiative is to educate them about their rights,
child protection laws, health, and gender
sensitization. The program focuses on motivating
these girls to continue their education and avoid
dropping out of school. Vimukti is raising awareness
among adolescent girls about the importance of
maintaining good health, including adopting healthy
eating habits and self-care practices. The
initiative also educates them about their legal
rights and the laws that protect them from abuse,
exploitation, and human trafficking. To achieve
these objectives, Vimukti is providing ongoing
support in 4villages, benefiting nearly 250
adolescent girls. The formation of adolescent clubs
has played a key role in building their confidence
and creating a safe space for learning and mutual
support. Through these clubs, the girls are becoming
more aware, motivated, and equipped with the
knowledge they need to protect themselves from
harmful practices and societal evils. One of the
most significant milestones of this initiative is
the formation of the Sabala Kishori Sangha, a
collective that empowers young girls to assert their
rights and work towards shaping a brighter, more
secure future.
Annual
Retreat of Capuchin Friars: Infant Jesus Delegation,
Nagaland-Manipur The

renewal during their annual retreat held from July 9
to 13, 2025. The retreat was animated by Fr. Tom,

retreat, hosted at Capuchin House Dimapur, brought
together friars from various houses across the
region. It was a time of grace, silence, and
reflection, offering a much-needed spiritual pause
in the midst of pastoral and missionary commitments. A Journey of Interior Healing and Prayer
Fr. Tom’s talks were rich in Scripture, reflection,
and practical spirituality. He addressed various
aspects of religious life, with a focus on healing
and transformation. One of the prominent themes of
the retreat was “The Holy Spirit”. Drawing
inspiration from John 14:26, “But the Helper, the
Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you all things,” Fr. Tom reminded the
friars of the Holy Spirit’s constant presence and
active role in their vocation. Another central theme
was healing and forgiveness, with a call to
introspect and let go of past wounds. Referencing
Psalm 147:3, “He heals the broken-hearted and binds
up their wounds,” Fr. Tom led the friars to
surrender areas of hurt, pride, and unforgiveness in
prayer. He stressed that genuine healing begins with
forgiveness, both receiving and giving it freely.

Spreading
Smiles Through Education: School Kit Distribution to
25 Deserving Children: Vimukti Pothnal “A
smile happens in a flash, but its memory can last a
lifetime.” In a heartfelt initiative to bring joy
and encouragement to young minds, Vimukti Pothnal,
has once again stepped forward to support the dreams
of economically disadvantaged and semi-orphaned
children. we distributed free school kits—including
notebooks, pencils, pens, and other essential
materials—to 25 deserving children. The objective of
this program is simple yet powerful: to prevent
school dropouts by removing basic barriers to
education and to ignite enthusiasm for learning. We
believe that something as simple as a new school
bag, fresh notebooks, or a box of crayons can create
a spark of hope and excitement in a child's heart.
With our 'School Kit' program, we aim to recreate
that cherished moment—the thrill of the first day of
school—for those who need it most. These kits are
more than just supplies; they are a message of care,
belief, and support. By helping these young learners
take their next leap in education, we are not just
giving them materials—we are gifting them
confidence, dignity, and a reason to smile.
Together, we can keep their dreams alive—one school
kit at a time.

"Building
Hope Through Educational Support for 350 Deserving
Students" Vimukti Pothnal "Education
is the most powerful tool we can use to break the
cycle of poverty and build a better future." In the
villages around Pothnal Raichur, Chikkodi and
Banakal, many children drop out of school simply
because their families cannot afford basic school
supplies. Their parents—daily wage laborers,
construction workers, rickshaw pullers, migrates or
domestic helpers—struggle to meet daily needs,
making education a distant dream. To address this,
Vimukti Charitable Trust® stepped in to support
underprivileged students. This year, we provided
educational kits to 350 deserving children studying
in Government Schools from grades 5 to 10th. Each
kit included notebooks, uniforms, bags, shoes, and
other essentials. Students were selected after home
visits and recommendations from school headmasters,
ensuring support reached the most deserving. We also
conducted counseling sessions for parents,
encouraging them to keep their children in school.
For these children, the kits brought not just
materials, but hope and motivation to continue their
education. Many more children still need help. Your
support can ensure they stay in school and pursue
their dreams. Together, let’s build a future through
education.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be
consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
