OFS JUBILEE OF UDUPI DIOCESE
The OFS Jubilee of Udupi Diocese was held on Thursday, 20th November
in Milagres Cathedral, Kalianpur. Rt Rev Dr Gerald Isaac, Bishop of
Udupi Diocese was the Chief Celebrant along with Rev Fr Robin Victor
DSouza, Provincial, Monsignor Ferdinand Gonsalves, Vicar General,
Rev Fr Paul Melwyn DSouza, Vicar Provincial, Fr Manohar Mervin
DSouza, The OFS Spiritual Assistant for OFS, Udupi Diocese and other
Diocesan Priest and Capuchin Priests from Udupi Diocese witnessed
the celebration. During the Holy Eucharist nearly 120 OFS members
received to the Order through Vestition and Profession. It was a
huge gathering of around 900 members from 5 Regions namely Kundapur,
Kalianpur, Udupi, Shirva and Karkal belonging to 52 Parishes in
Udupi Diocese. It was indeed a great witness of OFS presence in all
the Parishes of Udupi Diocese..
