Jai Ho Kripalaya!
It was an incredible all-round performance by the Kripalites in the “Prabodhana
Fest” organized by Prabodhana, the Pallotine Theologate, Mysore on October 2,
2010. On this joyful Saturday, there were altogether seven events in the
competition out of which Solo singing, Mnemonics and Instrumental were
individual events, and Vegetable & fruit carving, Bible Quiz, Poster Painting
and Group Dance were the group events. It’s very exciting to say that the
Kripalites have clinched first places in Mnemonics, Vegetable and fruit carving,
Bible quiz and Group dance, and second place in Solo singing. As a result, the
Rolling Trophy was indeed deservedly shared by both Kripalaya and Prabodhana.
Br. Sharan was excellent in his voice to bag the second place in the Solo
singing. Br. Kennedy with his shrewd memory obviously grabbed the first place in
Mnemonics. Brs. Ashwin and Rosario with their creative and skilful hands were
exceptionally good to win the first place in Vegetable and fruit carving. Though
we couldn’t taste the fruits but we indeed savoured the beauty of their
carvings. Brs. Joel and Joy, though philosophers, made a great impact on the
audience with their Biblical knowledge and with the timely risk they had taken,
they overtook the leading sisters, and had a thrilling victory. The agile
foot-losers of Kripalaya gave an attractive performance as they danced to
‘Maharashtra Maaza’. More startling was that the Maharashtra dance won the first
place in Karnataka.
We congratulate all the participants for their hard work and success.
Jai Ho Kripalaya.
