Pastoral Visitation
of St Lawrence of Brindisi, Novitiate House, Kanyogoga, Kampala,
Uganda 22 October 2021
The Provincial Minister, Br John Alwyn Dias paid a pastoral visit to
St Lawrence of Brindisi, Novitiate House, Kanyogoga, Kampala, Uganda
22 October 2021. The Guardian of the community, Br Francis Ssekulima,
Br Kabiito Stephen, Br Paul Ebwangat , Parish Priest of St Lawrence
of Brindisi, Church, Kanyogaoga and the novices welcomed Provincial
along with the Provincial Treasurer, Br Vijesh Menezes and
Provincial Secretary, Br Elvin Lopes. The novice sang an entrance
song of welcome and were led to the chapel were an inaugural prayers
were recited. Provincial met the friars of the community personally
and students in a common gathering. He visited the poultry, piggery,
garden and the surroundings. He celebrated the Eucharist for the
community and gave a fitting homily. He addressed the community and
encouraged and guded the brothers through his fraternal sharing. He
appreciated their dedication. Parish Priest Br Paul invited to have
see the Church dedicated to St Lawrence of Brindisi. The Pastoral
Visitation was concluded with a short prayer and benediction.
