Province Feast – Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity
The Capuchins Friars of the Holy Trinity Province of Karnataka
celebrated the feast of the Province on 14 June 2026, at Saccidananda –
Capuchin Provincialate, Bangalore. The celebration began at 6.30 pm with
a thanksgiving Holy Eucharist in honour of the Most Holy Trinity. The
solemn Holy Eucharist was presided over by His Grace, Most Rev. Dr Peter
Machado, Archbishop of Bangalore Archdiocese. The celebration was
solemnized with the presence of Br Balraj, the Parish Priest –
Assumption Church Rajajinagar, Fr John Sequeirs, the Provincial of the
Carmelites, Fr Paul Melwyn D’Souza, the Vicar Provincial, Provincial
Councillors, Capuchin Friars of the province of Karnataka, priests and
religious from neighbouring communities. The presence and participation
of the religious brothers, sisters, benefactors, well-wishers, friends
and especially the extended family of Saccidananda witnessed the joyful
and thanksgiving communion. Prayers were offered to all the friars,
brothers, missionaries, our kind benefactors and those who are
associating with us. Thereafter the newly ordained Priest was
felicitated. The Archbishop spoke words of appreciation and gratitude
towards the service of Capuchin Friars in the Archdiocese as well as in
the various parts of Karnataka and mission stations. Thereafter the
Provincial Minister expressed his thoughts of gratitude towards all
those gathered. The Holy Eucharist was followed by fellowship meal
sharing our joy of Brother-Sisterhood. May the grace and blessings of
the Holy Trinity ever remain with us, strengthen our unity and deepen
our fraternity!
