PASTORAL VISITATION ST ANNE’S FRIARY MANGALORE 26-29 JUNE 2023 Provincial Minister undertook the pastoral visitation of St Anne’s
Friary, Mangalore from 26th to 29th June 2023. Guardian, Br Rocky
D’Cunha along with the community members extended a warm welcome to Br
John Alwyn Dias, Provincial Minister, Br Maxim D’Silva the Provincial
Administrator, Br Vijesh Loyed Menezes the Provincial Treasurer and Br
Joywin Dias, Provincial Secretary. The Visitation began with the Holy
Eucharist by the Provincial, followed by the personal meetings of all
the friars of the community. The following day Provincial Minister gave
a brief talk to the friars exhorting them to work towards building a
better community, to work towards the dream of building a great
province. Thereafter, he sent the friars to discuss in groups regarding
the strengths and weaknesses of theirs with regard to spiritual life,
fraternal life and their ministry and apostolate. In the common
dialogue, he appreciated the brothers for their willingness and
availability for various responsibilities, ministries and towards the
mission of the province. He also gave valuable suggestions and guidance
to go a step further and work with creativity, enthusiasm and
co-operation in rendering their spiritual and pastoral services to the
people around. The Pastoral Visitation concluded with a short prayer.
