Pastoral Visitation – St
Sebastian Church Gardadi, Belthangady. The Provincial Minister Rev. Fr John Alwyn Dias paid a Pastoral visit to
the Parish community of St Sebastian Parish and Friary, Gardadi, Belthangady,
on 1-2 August, 2023. The Visitation began with the Holy Eucharist, where the
Parish Priest cum Guardian, Fr Antony Vas, welcomed the Provincial minister
along with provincial secretary Br Joywin Dias. The Pastoral Visitation
began with an introductory talk. Thereafter the Provincial met the friars
personally. The following day he offered the Holy Eucharist and prayed for
the community and the Parish. He later held a short meeting with the Parish
council members. A thoughtful dialogue was held with the community members
where the provincial expressed his gratitude towards the friars for their
ministry and service in the parish.
