St. Charles Lwanga - Capuchin Custody, UGANDA
7th August, 2010 was a day of great rejoicing for the Capuchin Friars in Uganda as three of our Brothers viz., Paul Ebwangat, Lancy Saldanha and Sunil Ulahanan made their Final Commitment to the Lord in the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, in the hands of Br. John Fernandes, the Superior Regular. The occasion was graced by Fr. Sebastian Unsnar, Provincial Minister of the Friars Minor of St. Francis Province. The Final Profession was also witnessed by Fr. David from South Africa, Br. Fidelis Mwesigye, Guardian of O.F.M. Kakoba, Novitiate community and a number of Franciscan Sisters like, Little Sisters of St. Francis, Franciscan Missionary Sisters for Africa and Franciscan Sisters of the Mercy of the Holy Cross, other Religious congregations of Men and Women, Secular Franciscans, Friends and neighbours. Altogether there were more than 300 people. We realized the blessings of God through the heavy down pour of rain with hailstones during the felicitation programme.
