DAY 6 – FINAL DAY
HOLY TRINITY PROVINCE, KARNATAKA X PROVINCIAL CHAPTER
Bengaluru, April 26, 2025 – The X Provincial Chapter of the Holy Trinity
Province, Karnataka, concluded today after six days of prayerful
deliberation, discernment, and decision-making.
The final day began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 6:45
AM, presided over by Br. Isaac Baptist, Delegate of the Infant Jesus
Delegation. Preacher Br. Frolic Fernandes delivered a stirring homily,
urging the capitulars to step out of their comfort zones and place
unwavering trust in the providence of the Lord.
The day's formal proceedings commenced at 9:00 AM in the Chapter Hall.
Chapter President Br. Lawrence Soosainathan and Provincial Minister Br.
Robin Victor D’Souza led the session, with Br. Joseph Dolphy Pais
serving as moderator. The capitulars engaged in final discussions
concerning the election processes, recommendations, and resolutions
aimed at shaping the Province’s future mission and governance. Voting on
key matters followed.
In his closing remarks, Br. Lawrence Soosainathan emphasized the urgent
call to live authentic fraternity, embrace change, and foster renewed
missionary zeal. Br. Robin Victor D’Souza delivered the vote of thanks,
acknowledging the contributions of all members and collaborators who
ensured the smooth conduct of the Chapter.
The X Provincial Chapter officially ended with the President declaring
it as closed, followed by a solemn prayer service, and festive dinner
marked by fraternity and joy, signaling a fresh beginning for the
Province.
