FAITH FORMATION CAMP AT ST. CLARE OF ASSISI PARISH POTHNAL:
Eight days of catechism camp was organized
at parish premises. One hundred and twelve children were present from
sixteen different villages of the Pothnal parish. This program was
conducted on 14th to 20th of October, 2012. Nearly 115 children
benefitted by being enriched with the wide knowledge and gained rich
experience of learning innovative things through digital learning.
The main purpose behind the camp was to develop and nurture the young
minds rationally. It started with meditation for half an hour regularly
and then proceeded with video shows on consequence of cleanliness,
Catechism, prayers, and leadership qualities etc., English, Kannada,
Hindi and other language songs were taught to sharpen their singing
talents. It was very thrilling and exciting experience and made learning
faster. To make the children more energetic, vibrant and physically fit,
some latest games were introduced during these special graceful days of
learning.
To keep alive the passion of curiosity, the camp was a perfect blend of
comprehending ideas promoting the students to be extra smart in grasping
the things? Finally the camp was concluded with a meaningful prayer
service wishing God’s blessings on all the children. The resource
persons for the program were Fr. Paul, Fr. Thomas Kalgadki Sr. Mary
pinto, Sr. Pramilla, Fr. Antony Raj, and brothers from Clara Vihar,
