Ministries (Acolyte
and Reader) which were conferred on 26th of November
On 26th of November it was grace
filled occasion as twenty our brothers were conferred the ministry
of Acolytes (11) and Reader (8) during the Morning Mass. The
Provincial Minister had delegated the power of conferring the
ministries to Rev. Fr. Salvador Fernandes, the Rector and Provincial
councilor of the Holy Trinity Province, Karnataka. He being the
celebrant of the day preached an inspiring sermon, highlighting the
importance of the Acolytes and Readers and also urging the
candidates to be faithful to their ministry.
There were quite a good number of faithful to witness this event in
the history of the church. The brothers of the first year theology
conducted a melodies choir. After the Mass the Rector congratulated
the candidates and wished them a fruitful ministry in the coming
days.
