In order to mark the beginning of the
new liturgical year St Anne's Friary hosted a night vigil for the
faithful of Mangalore on Saturday, 26th November 9.pm to 27th Sunday
morning 6.am. Around 400 faithful gathered together to worship and
praise the Lord and gave a spiritual start to their lives. The
season of waiting for the Lord was made more meaningful through the
sermons and reflections shared by various Capuchin preachers namely
Br. Darick, Br Lancy, Br. Jawahar and Br Denis. Bro Vincent from
Divine Retreat Center helped the faithful to celebrate this night of
grace with his lively music.
Indeed it was a Night of Grace as many faithful expressed later as
they returned homes refilling their lives with the spiritual energy.
