The Fraternity of St Ann's Friary, Bejai Manglore Celebrated the Birth day
of St Padre Pio. The fraternity of St Ann’s Bejai celebrated the Birthday of St. Padre
Pio with the festal Eucharistic Celebration. Hundreds of people flocked the
newly built St Ann’s chapel and witnessed the mercy of God through the
intercession of St Padre Pio. Fr Derick animated the adoration to the
Blessed Sacrament before the mass both in the morning as well as in the
evening. Fr Norbert Capuchin, a missionary in New York, USA presided over
the morning mass and preached a fitting homily. Fr Stuwart , a newly
ordained priest celebrated the evening festal Eucharist along with other
guest priests. Fr Artur, a resident friar of St Ann’s preached a beautiful
homily on the life of St Padre Pio. Fr Derick thanked all the guest priests
and the faithful for their active participation in the Eucharistic
celebration. All the guests and the faithful both in the morning and evening
were distributed the juice and the cake as the mark of celebration.
