Venafro, Italy. Holy Mass on the Mountain. The people around here begin the Month of May by climbing up the
mountain which is about 500 meters high, right above the Venafro town. A
Holy Cross, which is situated somewhere near the top of the mountain,
overlooks the entire panorama. Fr. J. B. Sequeira joined this ‘trekking’
group and reached the top after a wearisome two and half hours steep climb,
and celebrated Holy Mass for around 150 people gathered near the cross. It
was a unique and extraordinary experience.
