‘Kripalaya Institute day celebration’
Kripalaya, the Institute of
Philosophy and Religion, Mysore celebrated its ‘institution day’ on 10th
January 2016. It was a splendid event witnessed by number of people
specially priests, religious brothers, sisters, friends and benefactors. The
programme commenced at 5.30 PM with a prayer song. Fr. Rocky D’cunha, dean
of studies, welcomed all the guest specially Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Antony
Vazhapilly, Bishop of Mysore, Rev. Msgr. Desmond Rebello, Episcopal Vicar
for Religious, Fr. Alfred D’souza, Rector Pushpashram Mysore, Fr. N. T.
Jospeh, Dean of Mysore Deanery, Sr. Juliana Provincial, Sisters of St Joseph
of Tabs, Sr. Annie, Vicar Provincial UFS and other dignitaries. Fr. Santa
Lopes, the Rector presented the annual report highlighting the life and
activities and the achievements of Kripalaya. The programme lasted for three
and half hour which included Sadri dance, English skit ‘the day of
atonement”, Fusion dance, Cup song, Venerabilis barba capucinorum, Goan
dance, and a kanada skit. The chief guest the Most Rev. Dr. Thomas Antony
Vazhapilly, Bishop of Mysore gave an inspiring message and praised all the
brothers for their laudable performance. It was indeed a grand celebration
and congratulation to all the brothers for exhibiting their multiple
talents.
