DEANERY RECOLLECTION AT HIDKAL DAM 11th February the chikkodi deanery recollection and meeting was held in
St. Michael Church. Hidkal Dam, Belgaum. The recollection began with the
small prayer service. As the resource person for the day was Fr. Baptist
Rodriguez, Ofm Cap. Spoke about the year of Mercy, How we priest and
religious are called to be rooted in God’s mercy and love which in return
inspires, challenges, encourages, forgives and heals one another. We then
had adoration and confession. We also evaluated and discussed on how we can
be (at the deanery level) more effective and what more can be done in our
respective parishes. There were 30 priests and nuns present for the meeting.
The day ended with the delicious meal served by the parish priest.
