St. Francis of Assisi church Hunaji St. Francis of Assisi church, Halbarga, Bhalki, Bidar, has many chapels
or out-stations. One of the chapels is in Hunaji village, built in the year
2006 and inaugurated on 6th February, dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi.
The feast of St. Francis of Assisi come on October 4th and it is the feast
of the Halbarga centre, therefore Hunaji chapel feast is celebrated on 6th
February as the foundation day of the church.. Fr. Vincent Thoras, Humnabad,
from Orbit centre presided over the mass along with Fr. Joslie F. D’silva
and Lourd Swamy. Bethany sisters from Jalasangi also participated. Warm
