Foggia: Provincial Assembly: The ‘Trio’ of Karnataka Capuchin province, Brs. J.B. Sequeira, Denis
Prakash Lobo and Charles Furtado, who are presently the ‘Pastoral
collaborators’ in the Foggia Capuchin province, participate in the
Provincial Assembly held here at San Giovanni Rotondo, from 20th to 22nd
April 2015. One of the highlights of the event had been the impressive
lecture given by Bishop Msgr. Josè Carballo OFM, the Vatican Secretary of
the Congregation for Religious life. He elaborated the theme of the year and
expounded the present state of things regarding religious life worldwide.
Br. J.B. Sequeira had the privilege of presiding over the Eucharistic
celebration on the first day and Br. Denis led the Midday prayer on second
day. Br. Francesco Colacelli, the Provincial Minister of Foggia, met three
of us together and briefed us of the recent developments regarding the
mutual collaboration between the two provinces.
