Good Friday service at Saccidananda
Good Friday service was conducted at Saccidananda to commemorate Jesus Christ’s Passion, crucifixion and death. The service was officiated by Fr. Robin Victor D’souza.Fr. Joseph Dolphy Pais, Fr. Andrew Anil Sequeira & Fr. Deepak Fernandes too joined the service. The celebrant in his homily said, “On Calvary, Jesus Preached his message more by action than by words. Just before he was stripped of his last earthly possession his clothes. He died as he had been born owing nothing in this earth. He went to face his father as every one of us will face that same Father – God, naked, bereft of all earthly possessions. He demonstrated to all who could see and understand that living well does not depend on what a person has but on what he or she is”. Large number of faithful participated in this Holy Good Friday Service. Four Philosophy Brothers from Kripalaya were here to help in the Holy Week services.
